Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator that works within the deep dermis of the skin to help revitalize collagen production and restore the skin’s inner structure and volume. As the poly-L-lactic acid microparticles in Sculptra are absorbed in the skin, they help stimulate collagen growth. As a collagen stimulator, Sculptra fillers are used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds by restoring the deep, underlying structure of the skin.The revitalization of collagen production happens gradually, helping to restore facial volume and create a more firm and youthful appearance.
